San Carlos, Mexico

Since I only have 2 pictures, I would have to say that this one says it all! This was our favorite place to eat! We sat in this restaurant literally OVER the ocean, and the birds would
fly right there! Robbie and his dad got the brilliant idea to hold out chips for them to come eat! Soon, they were everywhere! At least a hundred birds circling out from our bar! Robbie's dad put a shrimp in his mouth, and one ate it from his mouth! They were hillarious, never a dull moment with the Dias crew!

The house we stayed in was just on to the right on the other side of that mountain you see. We stayed right on the harbor, and fished.

Ok, so I am pretty sad! Robbie's laptop go stolen, and I had tons of pictures on there! Since it was a laptop, that is what we took on our vacations too, so it had our best Hawaii and Mexico pictures on it! I guess that's what I get for not blogging sooner about our Hawaii trip in August! We went to Mexico for Christmas to take presents to an orphanage, and I had almost all of our pics on there! Here are the only pictures I ended up with! Kauai Hawaii first:

We took a Catamaran around the Napali coast, and did an amazing sunset sail. This was one of my favorite parts, can you believe how beautiful it is?
There were waterfalls like this all over the mountains, it is one of the wettest mountain ranges in the world!

This picture was taken right outside of our hotel, it was a blast. We just finished watching two HUGE sea turtles playing in the waves on the shore! (wish I had those pics!)

This was on a hike that we took after we kayaked up the river. The trip was beautiful, I wish I had more pictures to show the scenery. We hiked to a gorgeous waterfall and went swimming in the pond below it.

We had an underwater camera, and Robbie had a brilliant idea to use food to get all of the fish to come near us! They really liked the Pringles best.
I guess we'll just have to go back and get some more!!!

Happy #2 Ryan!!!

Saturday we celebrated Ryan's 2nd birthday! The day was full of playing, eating, more playing, swimming, eating, and finally napping! These 3 just love playing together, and actually play really well. They are all just so hyper when they get together, how cute are they?

Is it just me, or does Skye look like a midget? ...oh wait, she is a midget!

Our first time swimming this year, and I forgot Skye's swimsuit! Thankfully Carter didn't mind going without, so Skye could wear his 12 month suit!
It was such a fun day!

"Football Eyes"

I know what you are thinking, Skye got into my mascara again! Wrong!! This time she got into her dad's makeup :) Robbie came home from football the other night and had the black lines under his eyes, and Skye said she wanted some "football eyes" so Ricky wiped his off and put it on her. She just loved that, so the next day, she was being quiet as she often would when she is getting into trouble, so I called her name. She came in to me looking like this saying "Mom, look at my football eyes!" She was so excited, how could I have gotten mad at her. She found Robbie's black stick, and went to town!

Disneyland 2009

The Pictures...

The Incentive!!!

The Result

She was super scared of the characters! We finally had to bribe her with this sucker to get her to even stand by herself! Throughout the park she would say "Find Mickey to let him hold me!" That's what she had to do to get the sucker. Let's just say she wouldn't let Minnie hold her, but this got her the sucker!

Havin a Blast!

My Little Surfer!

The Rides!

Stacia and I made the boys test out this ride to see how wet you get on it. Apparently Ricky got wetter than Robbie! (Stacia and I didn't ride it :)

Notice I'm not in the cup! I don't do spinning rides, especially with Robbie! Skye loved it though.

These people weren't even real, and she is still scared!

PG-13

I was doing laundry the other day, and quit for a minute, and Skye came walking in with my sports bra on. She was so excited and she asked me to take pictures of her! What a goof!

Hide and Seek

Skye is getting such a cute personality! She always wants to play hide and seek, and is getting to the point where she'll find her own spots! This is her latest favorite spot. I was working on the computer, and she came in and said "hide" and got in the box and said "put the lid on, Mom!" It was so cute, and it really took Robbie a long time to find her. She's fun! (I know it's small, if you click on it, it gets bigger.)

Jay Cuttler

Everyone always talks about all the famous people they see in the airport, and we finally did too! When we were in the Vegas airport heading to NY we saw Jay Cuttler. He was Mr. Olympia a couple of years in a row! This picture doesn't do him justice, he was HUGE!!! The boys were so excited to talk to him, and he was way cool to talk with. (late post, I know!)

Sweet huh?!?

Friday, January 23, 2009

Ok, so I finally did a digital scrapbook page! It took me a whole day, so I can't decide if it is really more efficient or not. Yesterday I told Skye she had to sit in her high chair till she finished all her oatmeal. She wouldn't even take a bite! I went in the other room, and kept checking on her. This is how she looked every time! She sat in her high chair for an hour and 15 minutes, when I sent her to bed. Gotta love her!

New York 2008 - Our Thanksgiving Vacation

It's official we LOVE New York!

This scary thing is from the game Candyland (Skye's gettin it for Christmas!)
The whole fam!
Check out this sweet hummer limo. No, we didn't roll in this, but the driver let us look inside, and man was it cool!
Skye was actually posing in front of the M&M and we took a couple of pics, and then she said that she wanted to "hold him". She loved sitting up there.

Last year Robbie's family took us to New York for Christmas, and this year we got to go for Thanksgiving! It was so much fun, we got to see the Macy's Day Parade up close, go shopping with the million other people there for the parade, and take in the holiday sights and sounds. Thanks so much Mom and Dad for taking us, it was so much fun!

American Museum of Natural History

We got to go the American Museum of Natural History. It was so cool! My favorite part was the dinosaur bones! Those things are huge! The herd of elephants was pretty cool too! Skye loved the whole thing. She would just grab your hand and go from exhibit to exhibit. She'd spend about 30 seconds at each one, but didn't miss one!

Check out this close up of Skye's face in the elephant photo!

Wintuk

Wintuk is a sweet Cirque Du Soleil type performance. It was amazing, there were so many sweet talents we were just in awe the whole time. There were a couple of amazing skaters, bikers, skateboarders, trapeze artists, flexible people (whatever they're called) and so much more. Skye totally loved it because there was lots to watch. I highly recommend this performance; and it was at Maddison Square Gardens, so that was way fun to see.

This is how excited we all were to see the show! :)

The amazing cast. Those dogs are people, they really acted
and moved like dogs, even while doing stunts! Impressive!
At the end, tons of snow flakes fell from the celing throughout the whole audience!

Like "Where's Waldo", but Where's Robbie?

More NY Fun!
