Vegas Baby!

Back in December we went to Vegas with a bunch of friends!  Let's be honest, we really just went down to eat at the CHEESECAKE FACTORY.  After we were done eating we noticed a ton of commotion outside, so we went to check it out!  It was the grand opening of the new H&M in Caesars Palace.  It was an insane place!  There were seriously circus people there.  They were serving ice cream and drinks, and food!  It really was crazy.

Big Fish

My mom got these coupons for a restaurant near their condo last time they were down.  It looked like a cute little Mexican place.  Everyone enjoyed what they got.  Robbie likes to keep it real, so this is what he ordered.  It was HUGE!

I am sure you can imagine the jokes.

And of course, he had to have Skye kiss it.

Didn't feel so hot the next day.

Laundry Ladies

The other day I was doing laundry, and I asked Skye to return  my basket to my bedroom.  Next thing I know, Davyn is laughing HARD.  I went out to see what was going on, and this is what I found.  Skye is so creative with Dav, and she loves it.  Skye was pushing her around on the tile FAST!  Back and forth.  What a couple of stinkin dolls!

Jumpin Jacks

Ok, it's official, my girls LOVE Jumpin Jacks!  It helped that they had tons of friends there, but seriously, I didn't see them the whole time!  Dav wasn't a fan of the blow up toys, but she loved to just wander around!

 Skye wouldn't even hold still long enough for a good picture, but this shows how much fun she had!

Field Day @ Diamond Ranch

Robbie puts together a Track and Field day for the kids at the Ranch every spring!  It was an absolutely beautiful day.  We got lunch and headed out to be a part of the fun!

Spring Break

 

At the beginning of April my family came down for their Spring Break.  We spent many days by the "bath" as Davyn would say.  I was surprised at how much she loved the water!  I am so ready for summer to be here!

 Skye is getting good at swimming.  Still looks pretty scary though!

Anything for a Bath!

The other night I was painting Skye's nails.  Davyn always likes to play with the basket of nail polish.  We've never had any problems with that...until now.  She wasn't being wild, or throwing them around or anything, and I'm not really sure how it happened, but all of the sudden, she was really rubbing her mouth and nose.  She has had allergies, so I didn't think much of it.  Then I saw it!  She had nail polish all over her hands and was itching her nose!  Somehow, the top had broken off of one of the bottles.  These pictures are an after thought, so they don't show all of the fun!  Her mouth and nose were all solid pink!  It all came right off in the bath, and I would swear she planned it because she loves baths so much!

Sick Dav

I hate it so much when my kids are sick.  Last week Skye had some weird bug where she threw up 4 times from 4 am till 9 am then she was done.  Dav has thrown up once a day for the past 3 days.  I always know it's coming because she won't eat her food (which is out of character for her) and then it comes about an hour later.  She gets to take a bath, and then crashes instantly after.  So sad.

This morning we woke up to SNOW!  It's not supposed to snow HERE in APRIL!

This Cute Girl

So, crazy story.  Last time we went to the cabin, we stayed in SLC before heading the rest of the way.  We left our camera at the hotel.  We called and they said they had it, so we told them we would pick it up on our way back through on Monday.  We stopped in Monday night, and they said it was locked in the managers office.  Ticked, we left.  We called the next day, and they couldn't find our camera.  We gave them a week to locate it, and they couldn't.  They told us they were going to have to buy us a new camera.  So, 2 months later, we got a new camera.  They sent just the camera body.  No charger, battery, or memory card.  Lame, finally we got them to at least give us the battery.  They have been terrible.  Anyway, we got the battery Friday night, so Skye posed so we could test it out.  Here she is Saturday morning hair/pj's and all.  She makes the funniest/cutest faces for the camera.  I'm lucky to get a smiling one!
